1. Basic Raw material used in Tibetan rug is pure raw wool Imported from Tibet which is carded by hand.

2. Hand carded wool is spun by hand converting it into fine yarn of different counts depending on the quality of rugs to be knotted

3. Hand spun yarn is dyed into different tones

4. Dyed yarns in hand are transferred into convenient balls suitable for knotting.

5. Cotton yarns are manually fed into looms

6. Rugs are then knotted in cotton warps
 

7. Once the rug is ready from loom, it is washed by hand using ancient Tibetan Technique.

8. Finishing is performed in the final stages of rug making process. It makes the rugs surface even and separates different colors present in the rug, enhancing the clarity of the designs.
